Dr. Richard M. Wagner is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) with advanced training and experience in anesthesia as well as all aspects of oral surgery. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science and the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1982 where he received his doctorate. He completed his Internship at Brown V.A. Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. After that he went through his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesia residencies at the Cleveland Metro Health Center in Cleveland, Ohio, associated with Case Western Reserve University. He presently maintains his private practices in Racine and Kenosha Wisconsin.
Dr. Wagner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, an honor given to an oral surgeon only after extensive written and oral examinations. He is a Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Wagner has memberships in Regional Oral and Maxillofacial surgery organizations, including the Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Great Lakes Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Wagner is on the staff at the Wheaton Franciscan Hospitals / All Saints.
Along with being an oral surgeon, Dr. Wagner is certified in anesthesia and administers intravenous anesthesia within the office setting. He is ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified. Patients are monitored using EKG, Pulse Oximetry and Blood Pressure during all surgery procedures.

As an oral surgeon, Dr. Wagner has a particular interest in reconstructive facial surgery, dentoalveolar surgery such as the removal of wisdom teeth, placement of dental implants, bone regeneration and restoration procedures and bone grafting. He is well versed in dental implants and bone regeneration. He is actively engaged in continuing education.
