We understand that your fear may be based on being uncertain about care, not knowing what to expect, or not being in control. We will take time with you and put you at ease. We will tailor the visit to your needs and we are happy to explain our care and inform you so you can make proper decisions.

Modern technology now makes it possible to perform our procedures without any discomfort. You won't even remember the procedure. Knowing this should start to bring your anxiety level down to a minimum and to help make your treatment as worry-free as possible.

During his years of hospital training, Dr. Wagner received extensive schooling in the medical and surgical aspects of anesthesia. He is thoroughly knowledgeable in pain and anxiety control and he has over twenty years of clinical experience in anesthesia techniques, from local anesthesia to sedation to general anesthesia.

Putting Your Mind at Ease

One of the things Dr. Wagner has been taught in terms of reducing anxiety is the importance of making sure you are aware of what to expect during surgery. It is true, the more you know, the less you have to be worried about. That's why beforehand, we'll review the type of anesthetic to be used, as well as the way you're likely to feel during the procedure. Dr. Wagner will answer any questions you may have about any part of the procedure.

During your treatment you will be in a very pleasant sleep. Many patients report that it was one of the most restful sleeps they have ever had. We will watch over you closely throughout your care, and monitor your vitals with modern technology.

After surgery Dr. Wagner will prescribe appropriate medications to make you feel as comfortable as possible when you get home. Know that after you leave we can be reached by telephone to help you with any care questions you may have.

Suffice it to say that, before, during and after surgery, we are doing everything we can to make you as comfortable as possible and to give you a pleasant, worry-free experience.
